TdT 1200Km Information 2021

Registration open August 2020 Note: Maximum 34 cyclists.

Pre-qualifying Rides (2)
1. A 1000Km or 1200Km Audax Australia ride (or international ACP/BRM/LRM) in 2019 or 2020, and
2. A 600Km (or greater) Audax Australia ride (or international ACP/BRM/LRM) 1st May 2020 to 31st December 2020.
NOTE Flexibility may be considered, please advise what Audax rides you have completed if you don't quite meet the pre-qualifying distances.

Event Tracking
SpotWalla will be used to display live tracking of riders on a Google map, note that this is not compulsory. To be displayed on the event map a rider will require a SpotWalla account (free) to link their tracking device.
Satellite tracking options: SPOT or Garmin inReach
Mobile Phone app options: Bubbler GPS (Android) or SWconnect (iOS) or gibbyTrip (iOS)
Audax Australia have SPOT Trackers available for a small hire fee.

Audax Australia Safety Recommendations Note new Audax Australia Ride Rules from 1 November 2018
1. Mandatory front and rear lights that comply with Australian Road Rules Safety Recommendations.
2. Reflective vest or equivalent suggested by Audax Australia Safety Recommendations.

Suggested Additional Carriage of Clothing & Equipment
1. Mobile Phone.
2. Tracking device: Mobile Phone app or Satellite tracker (options listed above).
3. Space Blanket (Day 2 and Day 3).
4. Suitable long sleeved rain jacket.
5. Woollen under vest or equivalent.
6. Leg & arm warmers, beanie (warm cap), booties, & long finger gloves.

Summary of support that will be provided
• Printable Maps & Cue sheets from this website.
• GPX Track files (for most GPS) & TCX Course files (for most Garmin Edge only GPS) from this website.
• Luggage support between overnight controls, max 10kg bag.
• Overnight accommodation x 3 nights.
• Evening meals and breakfasts will be provided at overnight controls.
• Volunteer support at overnight controls and intermediary controls.
• Emergency transport in the event of breakdown or (non-serious) injury.
• After ride breakfast, Tavern 42 Degrees South (T42).

18 Feb 4.50am Final rider brief.

19 Feb Overnight Control: Gowrie Park.
